We’ll explore your child’s strengths, challenges, and your goals, while reviewing the information you’ve shared ahead of time. The focus is on understanding what matters most to your family and creating a clear plan together.

Perfect for families:

• who are new to speech pathology and want to understand where to start
• who would like a thorough first session that looks at both strengths and challenges

After the assessment, we’ll arrange a parent-only feedback session to go through the results together. This gives us space to discuss your child’s strengths, areas where support may be helpful, and to answer any questions you have. After the session, you’ll receive a personalised email summary with key insights and tailored recommendations, so you leave with both confidence and a clear plan to support your child at home.

A 30-minute play-based session designed to connect with your child, explore their unique communication style, and help them feel comfortable with us!

Perfect for families:

• starting therapy for the first time
• transitioning from another service
• who have recently had an assessment elsewhere and are now beginning therapy with us
• wanting to determine if further assessment is helpful or indicated
• wanting to get to know me and see if I’m the right fit for their child and family
   

Through play, we’ll learn about your child’s strengths, interests, and needs in a relaxed, supportive environment — laying the groundwork for a positive therapy journey and guiding the next steps.

After the session, you'll receive a personalised email summary that captures key insights from our time together.
